Simulations

Training, testing and scenario simulations can be built with 3D models. We can use existing 3D models, or they may be built specifically for running a simulator. If PAC has done the design work, chances are most of the model will exist already. Then it simply is a matter of running the requested simulation on the model.

Training and Testing

Training and testing modules can be developed and suitable simulators created using the whole-plant simulation or a subset model. Modules may include:

• Emergency response training
• Production and operations training
• Maintenance training
• Equipment operator certification training

Scenario Investigation

Using the whole-plant model as the basis, simulated scenarios may be created to efficiently analyze critical situations or for what-if planning. Some examples are:

• Equipment outages
• Retrofit planning/coordination
• Partial shutdown/restart scheduling
• Disaster planning
