Project Parameters
The Task: To install a CGMP compliant plant to manufacture and bottle a hand-cleansing product. Plant included extensive product recovery and CIP systems. All this was to be built within an existing building.
The Client: A well known chemical producer.
Time and Location: 2004, North Carolina
The Budget: US$4M
Our Involvement
PAC's role: Total design.
We took on all aspects of the design including mechanical, structural, equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation.
We delivered drawing packages, including piping isometrics, structural fabrication details, layouts, mechanical details, equipment details, lighting details, HAZCHEM schematics, civil, HVAC, control systems diagrams, instrumentation locations, and many more.
PAC also provided real time, web based walk-throughs of the project, along with fully rendered animations and posters for formal presentations.
Conclusion
The project was completed on time, within the final budget constraints.
The project went from design to completion in 6 months. The precision of our piping isometrics allowed pipes to be fabricated off-site, speeding up the installation considerably.
